Is your child struggling with math? Usually, the problem isn't the child. Due to time constraints, teachers in Israeli schools often teach students to solve problems using set formulas: see a problem, apply a specific pattern. But if the question deviates even slightly, everything falls apart—and the *Bagrut* (matriculation exam) almost always involves such variations.
My teaching approach is different: I focus on understanding rather than rote memorization, and on logical thinking rather than guessing which pattern to use. This turns math from a scary subject into one they actually enjoy.
I immigrated to Israel just four years ago and personally went from having absolutely no grasp of the language or the new material to achieving top scores on my *Bagrut* exams. In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I help *Olim* (new immigrants) build the vocabulary needed to succeed in exams conducted in Hebrew!

• 2nd-year student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Mathematics and Computer Science)
• Winner and medalist in major national and regional Olympiads in math, physics, and programming
• Languages: Russian, Hebrew, and English; I explain concepts in whichever language the student finds most comfortable
