Enrollment for summer online clubs
Hi everyone! I’m opening enrollment for summer online clubs 😁✨.
These classes are for fans of creativity and engaging stories. Details about the program and logistics are below. The groups will be small and cozy (roughly 4–6 participants) to ensure everyone has a chance to speak up and get involved.
Club descriptions:
1. “Creating Fictional Worlds” 📜🎨🌿 Do you love wandering through imaginary worlds as much as I do? Marveling at the color of the sky and unfamiliar constellations? Perhaps approaching the locals cautiously, clutching a sketchbook in one hand and a welcoming gift in the other? How about creating your own world and sharing the joy of new discoveries with others? We’ll explore the elements that make up fictional worlds and learn how to dream them up. By the end of the course, each participant will have compiled an encyclopedia describing the reality they created—something that can later serve as a foundation for stories, games, and much more.
Program highlights:
- Object and character design
- Methods for finding inspiration and gathering information
- Analyzing worlds from favorite stories
- Drawing basics
- Cartography basics
- And many other wonderful things
For ages 8–14 who love drawing, fantasy, and storytelling—or simply for anyone who is curious. 2. “Running Tabletop Role-Playing Games” 🎭🎲📚
Most role-playing games require a Game Master: a storyteller and rules arbiter, a lead organizer, and an enthusiast whose passion inspires everyone else. This club is for those who want to become Game Masters. We will create stories and play together.
The program includes:
- How to play tabletop RPGs
- Rule systems, their pros and cons (focusing primarily on the 5th edition of *Dungeons & Dragons*)
- Plot creation
- Running combat scenes
- Group organization and player management
- And much more
For those who love fantasy, storytelling, and role-playing games—or want to learn how to play. The club is designed for children aged 10–16.
Logistics 📝:
When: Everyone has more free time in the summer, so we can meet twice a week if the group prefers (instead of just once during the school year). Sessions can take place during the day, in the early evening, or even in the morning, since there is no school. We will coordinate the specific days and times with interested participants. Tentative session times (please list all options that work for you when signing up):
Sunday: 10:00–12:00, 14:00–16:00, 17:00–19:00
Monday: 10:00–12:00, 14:30–16:30
Tuesday: 10:00–12:00, 14:40–16:30
Where: Online, using the Discord app (free). A microphone is required; a camera is not.
Cost: 70 shekels per two-hour session; payment is monthly (70 × number of sessions in the month), due at the start of the month via the "Bit" app.
Language: Sessions can be conducted in either Russian or Hebrew, depending on who signs up. When signing up... Please indicate which languages the child speaks.
To sign up: via Facebook chat or WhatsApp (Daniela).
Sign up yourself and invite friends. Questions are welcome! 😁✨
