Introducing Magnifying Devices

This coming Saturday, the Attic will again host the master class “Introducing Magnifying Devices” (from the “The Whole Family to the Museum” program).
And this is actually not just a master class - it’s “Immersion History”: both children and adults will learn the history of the creation of magnifying devices; Moreover, some of them will be able to experience themselves; and, of course, we will get acquainted with several types of microscopes (from the very first, created by Anthony Van Leeuwenhoek to modern ones).
In addition, having found out who the creator of the first microscope worked for, we will carry out expert work and check the condition of some modern products, and for this everyone will have to learn how to make temporary microslides.
And who else used the microscope and why, and what does the world-famous agent 007 have to do with it, you will find out if you have time to sign up.
