"Detective Academy" at the computer club

Most children live in a world of computer games, technology and neural networks.
Nowadays, many teenagers spend hours playing computer games or living in the world of TikTok and YouTube. It has become part of their reality, where they find like-minded people and face difficulties. But what if, using their interests, we bring this into real life?
I regularly conduct individual and group lessons with teenagers in a game format. And then I came up with an idea, using the interests of teenagers to teach them basic programming, creating scripts, working in AI and other useful skills. I want to tell you more about it.
My name is Valeria Chechelnitskaya. I am an experienced therapist and educator. I have been working with teenagers for 10 years and creating activities in a game format. As a teacher, I can explain complex things in simple terms. Therefore, I decided to choose a format that teenagers know firsthand - creating a game in Roblox.
Roblox is not just a set of games, it is an entire platform. Development in which can be supplemented with detailed plot development, world programming and work with artificial intelligence.
In 5 days of live communication in the computer club, children will learn:
✔️ Creating a plot and working with scripts. Children think through their characters and the universe with all the details in a detective story format. They will be able to develop imagination, creative and logical thinking. And also, improvisation skills that help to develop in the future. During the process, various plot twists await them, some of which the guys will come up with themselves and will think about how to cope with them.
✔️ Basic programming skills and working with AI.
Teenagers will be able to learn tricks of working with artificial intelligence that will complement their real ideas. They will also gain basic knowledge of creating game mechanics, even if they have never tried themselves in this role.
✔️ Creation of a finished project that can also continue to be developed outside the camp.
✔️ Solving logical problems, tasks to develop thinking, memory, communication skills
In addition to the fact that the program is varied and rich, it is created in such a way that everyone can work at their own pace on a separate computer and complete individual and group tasks in a supportive space, without criticism or evaluation.
During the break, the guys will be able to have a snack, put on VR glasses, and play board games or on PS5. And at the end of the training you will receive pleasant surprises.
