Vinyasa Yoga and Hatha Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga in which asanas are performed in a continuous sequence. This creates a seamless flow, where movements flow from one to the next.
The goal of Vinyasa Yoga is to develop strength, flexibility, and endurance through movement. The practice is aimed at improving physical fitness, developing coordination, and focusing attention during movement.
In terms of intensity, Vinyasa Yoga is considered an active form of yoga. A class may include strength exercises, balances, dynamic transitions, and holding poses for several breaths. The constant movement increases the heart rate, warms up the body, and trains the cardiovascular system.
Hatha Yoga is a bodywork practice that involves functional, strength, and flexibility exercises aimed at strengthening the skeletal muscles, developing balance, flexibility, and overall endurance. The combination of dynamic and static exercises helps engage muscles and develop body control in various positions. These classes reduce physical and nervous tension and improve concentration.
Classes are held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays in our cozy studio at the first entrance to Tirat Carmel, Yozma 3.
At the same time, classes for children are held in the adjacent room, a great way for mothers to spend time with themselves instead of waiting.
