Hebrew by the OUM method

All Israel (or online)
8 - 12 years, 13 - 16 years
Russian

Now I'll tell you what keeps many people from speaking.

Oh, no, I've already talked about this... Fear.
Fear of seeming ridiculous.
Fear of mixing up words.
Fear that people born in the country or who have lived here for many years will suddenly!!! realize that your Hebrew is still a bit weak.
Fear that those who came for a professional service will turn around and go to a specialist whose Hebrew is perfect...
What should you do?
It always helps to remember yourself in a situation where a foreigner approached you and tried to speak your native language or get information.
Was there an intention to offend, or were you simply trying to help?
In Israel, to the great joy of those arriving, most people are very respectful of those learning Hebrew. They rejoice at a new word spoken just as much as the speaker themselves, calmly expecting it and showing a willingness to understand. Yes, there are those who do a disservice by switching to Russian, but you can thank them and continue the conversation in Hebrew.
In Conversational Hebrew classes using the OUM Method, we talk and the topics can shift from one to another.
Pros:
- the brain trains itself to be active and, when needed, switches automatically;
- words suddenly emerge unexpectedly, but precisely when we need them;
- the lesson feels more like a conversation, which leads to relaxation and comfort, rather than creating unnecessary potential and the burden of responsibility;
- a foundation is always provided, but there is no terminology that is meaningless to the language user;
- with each new lesson, increasing intensity or adding information does not intimidate, but only strengthens the established foundation;
- the initial anxiety before homework gives way to a keen interest and excitement to continue.
It is possible to work individually for 30-45-60-90 minutes and continue learning between lessons. It's possible to work in small groups, and similarly, stopping worrying about things not working out and learning to focus on the essence moves you forward.
You can speed up or slow down.
Review the material or add 20-30 new words whose meaning is clear based on the concept of Hebrew logic.
Cons:
- You need to talk, which means those who prefer to remain silent, expecting everything to happen naturally and, once they wake up, everything will flow smoothly, whether in their head or out loud, will be unsuitable;
- Those who believe that a new language must be learned by memorizing words and tables according to the norms accepted in an academic environment will see chaos, not system.
If, however, the desire to speak, to escape forced silence, and the need to feel independent again are really getting on your nerves, but previous methods have not yielded the desired results, come to classes.
The method works well with teenagers and very old people, with those who have just arrived and with those who have been trying to talk for decades.
