I invite you to piano lessons in Haifa!
My name is Sofia Rempel, and I am a pianist, accompanist, and performer of early music on the harpsichord. I teach piano, harpsichord, and solfeggio. I enjoy teaching both children and adults. I love my work and have been doing it for a long time. I am currently available for two students. Classes will be held in upper Haifa on Einstein Street.
I'll tell you a little about my approach. In addition to my musical education, I also have a degree in psychology, which I utilize to the fullest in my work.
● I don't judge a student by their abilities; I see them first and foremost as individuals, and I care about them.
● We develop an individualized approach with each student, learning at their own pace.
● I nurture their interest and use techniques that increase their motivation to learn.
● I follow their activity. We not only learn to play music, but also listen, sing, learn musical notation, improvise, and select melodies and accompaniment.
● For older students ready for more focused learning, we learn pieces, working on tone, chords, and dynamics. I pay close attention to proper hand positioning.
● We organize concerts where all students perform. Concerts increase interest in the lessons, and the children eagerly await them.
● In lessons, we work not only on developing musical abilities. While mastering pieces, students learn to be attentive, multitask, and manage their attention. Memory, fine and gross motor skills, and coordination improve. Everything we do in lessons is important and necessary not only for becoming a musician.
● We learn to feel and create beauty, to create images with sound. ● I use a variety of teaching methods. I focus on the student, seeing what suits them best. We always choose the plays together—it's very important that they like them!
