Math for Kids
So. I am recruiting new summer groups of children aged 5-9 years (for each age there is a group) for very fun, very funny and at the same time very serious and useful mathematical classes “Math for Kids”.
1) Each lesson is based on a funny fairy tale, in which the kids find themselves, and in order to get out of it with victory, they have to solve problems - from the simplest to quite olympiad ones.
2) Why does it have to be funny - because when teaching it is necessary to include emotions, that’s why it’s always funny and sometimes scary (for me, but not for the children).
3) The goal of our lessons is to learn to see the task. That's why we draw and imagine a lot
4) The purpose of our lessons is to speak. Children now tend to learn at the level of short test questions. We try to discuss and prove!
5) I take all the children. The only condition is that it must be their choice. The level of knowledge, skills and abilities is not important, I adapt the child to any scenario, he does not have the feeling that he has not decided or did not understand something. If I see, on the contrary, that it is too easy for the baby, I suggest moving to a group a year older.
6) I just had my second graduation. I saw how hatched, mature ten-year-old kids reason, how they prove their decisions and are not afraid to think. The first episode featured my daughter and her friends. They are all very successful in adult mathematics.
7) To get to me, I definitely need to first talk and get to know the baby and one of his parents.
8) Classes last half an hour, once a week, online. Classes start in June and you can join any day.
9) And at the same time! I have a few spots freed up for private math classes. My eldest student is 32 years old, the rest are from fifth graders to bagrut. I'll be glad!
